I’m learning the difference between a “want” and a “need.” Yes, I could’ve spent that money on something for myself, something tangible, something that I probably would’ve forgotten about sooner or later. But no, I decided to spend it on something that I need right now, and that’s family. I already know that family will never, ever go away, but sometimes being away from them makes me feel like they’re not really there. You know? But hey, it’s life, and we’re all learning more and more everyday.
